11 new investment projects to be supported by My Business Center

My Business Center hosted the final investment reviewal commission of the year, selecting to support 11 new projects for a total of 15.2 billion rubles. The commission consisted of the representatives of the  Ministry of Economic Development of the region and the specialists of the Development Institute.

The project portfolio has been enriched with most promising business ideas.  For instance, 2 agricultural projects are now on the go. In 2 years, a cutting rooting plant shall be established in Kopeysk.  It shall fully satisfy the national demand for fruit and ornamental shrubs while establishing 100 new jobs.  The second project aimes at building a plants and flowers greenhouse complex in Nyazepetrovsky district. Both enterprises are to provide the market  with various seedlings, produced in Russia.

Additionally, it is planned to set up an international production and warehouse base with an area of more than 17 thousand square meters. It will become one of the key elements of the logistic system of the region.

'We pay much attention to project selection. Our team evaluates the project lifespan and prospects, as well as the socio-economic effect. The entrepreneurs are very development and opportunity - driven, and they are exploring new niches.  Following the latests commission review, we are now supporting 105 projects,' comments Artem Sagdakov, Head of Investment Development at My Business Center of the Chelyabinsk Region.

The rest of the projects are related to tourism, manufacturing and mining. With the newly adopted projects, the total amount of investments has increased to 151.8 billion rubles, it is planned to create more than 12.8 thousand jobs.
