Chelyabinsk region - Investor's Territory
Chelyabinsk Region has developed industry and agriculture. We are located on the border of Europe and Asia, in the southern part of the Urals, adjacent to the West Siberian Plain.
The region borders with the Sverdlovsk region in the north, the Kurgan region in the east, the Republic of Bashkortostan in the west, the Orenburg region and Kazakhstan in the southeast.
The area of the Chelyabinsk region is 88.5 thousand m2.
The Chelyabinsk Region ranks 9th in the national rating of investment attractiveness compiled by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in cooperation with business associations.
In 2021, the volume of investments in fixed assets of the Chelyabinsk region reached 317.8 billion rubles. The most significant increase is in the investments in manufacturing - from 32.8% in 2020 to 39.5% in 2021 (including in metallurgical production - an increase from 19.8% to 20.1%). As of the end of 2022, the volume of investments in fixed assets is estimated at 330.5 billion rubles.
Over 300 projects are currently being implemented in the region totaling 430 billion rubles in investment.
